Will grow up to 20ΓÇÖ tall or more with huge fronds measuring 8-10ΓÇÖ in length ΓÇô under exceptional conditions some have even reached 14ΓÇÖ! Prefers a shady, semi-protected, moist area when planted outside. Winter protection and lots of water is often necessary, although they do become more drought tolerant with age.
