Irrigation and Water Conservation

Daytime is the worst time to irrigate if you want to consider water conservation. More water will evaporate before it reaches the lawn or plants during the day resulting in the need for longer irrigation cycles. Usually the hottest time of the day and the greatest evaporation occurs between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm.
